On March 12, viaSport intended to recognize three outstanding coaches and deserving winners of the 2019 Coach of the Year Awards.

The government of British Columbia has proclaimed Sept. 23 – 30, 2017, as British Columbia Coaches Week, recognizing the impact of the more than 10,000 coaches in the province.

Coach Feature: Peter Lawless


Today we are excited to feature Peter Lawless, coach of Michelle Stilwell who recently brought home two gold medals from Rio. However, coaching Michelle to two (record time) Paralympic gold medals is only one of Peters’ many incredible accomplishments.
