Now in its fifth year, viaSport British Columbia is continuing to deliver on its mandate to increase awareness, opportunity and participation in sport across the province – at every stage of life and in every community. As part of furthering this strategy, viaSport is proud to announce the addition of four new members to its Board of Directors

Following a comprehensive and successful leadership recruitment initiative, viaSport – the strategic leader for amateur sport in British Columbia – announces additions to its leadership team, with the appointment of Caley Denton, Peter Lawless and Loreen Barnett to the viaSport Board of Directors and Cathy Priestner Allinger as Chief Executive Officer.

The first Paralympian to ever win five gold medals for Canada at a single Winter Paralympic Games, BC’s “Golden Girl” Lauren Woolstencroft is making the transition from champion in sport on the mountain to ambassador of sport at the leadership table.
