Women’s World Cup Canada 2015 Legacy Project
Are you looking to get involved in your community through sport and recreation? Interested in grassroots soccer? Do your children play soccer? Do you want to learn more about the game and opportunties to get involved?
viaSport has partnered with BC Soccer, Vancouver Whitecaps FC, the BC Ministry of Community, Sport and Cultural Development, the Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women and Sport and Physical Activity (CAAWS), and other organizations to leave a lasting legacy of the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015.
A series of events are being held to inspire women across BC to get involved in the game through coaching, officiating or volunteering with a local soccer club. These events will provide participants with tools to become effective coaches and leaders, and connect them to impactful female roles models in the soccer world.
Childcare subsidies are available for those participants that will incur childcare costs to attend this event. Please indicate on the registration form that you require childcare and you will be contacted with more information.
