Active Girls

The Active Girls Committee of KidSport Greater Victoria knows that being active is important for girls’ healthy development. Statistically almost twice as many boys than girls apply for grants with KidSport. With that in mind, we’ll work specifically to ensure that girls have equal opportunity to participate in sports and physical activities. Each year, we raise and distribute funds locally through special projects (for example, supporting girls to participate in the Victoria Goddess Run) and through grants for girls.
