Event Feature: ITF 3 2015 Vancouver International Wheelchair Tennis Tournament

The ITF 3 Vancouver International Wheelchair Tennis Tournament was hosted in Vancouver July 16 – 19 by BC Wheelchair Sports Association.
In it’s second year at Kitsilano Beach park, the tournament hosts any array of players, from beginner to professional, in Men’s, Women’s, Quad and Junior Divisions. In addition to providing Canadian players the opportunity to earn ITF Points on home soil, the tournament also draws in athletes from around the world.
“It’s a really nice atmosphere. You have a lot of people walking past. stopping, having a look, and staying for the whole match, which is fantastic, says Ben Weekes,” Wheelchair Tennis athlete from Australia.
Eight countries were represented at this year’s event, including China, Australia, the United States. Japan, France, and Mexico.
