2017 Canada Cup
Maple Ridge Archery Club is hosting the 2017 Canada Cup May 20-22 at their home range at Selvey Park. The event is a Western Canadian high performance tournament where some of the nations top archers will be competing in both qualifiers and match play. Attending are athletes from across the country (BC through QC), along with 8 of the 12 members of the Canadian Compound Team heading to the World Archery Youth Championships in Argentina in October.
2017's tournament has drawn record attendance with 82 athletes taking aim. This is the 2nd time the Club has hosted the Cup, however the organizing committee is well seasoned having hosted the Cup at other venues and put on the Archery portion of the Americas Masters Games in 2016.
The Canada Cup comes back to Maple Ridge in 2019, but don't wait that long to check it out. Stop by the field on the long weekend and watch the arrows fly. For full details, visit the event webpage.
